We are a small team providing structural engineering and AutoCAD design, for domestic projects of any size and level complexity, ranging from small loft conversions to bespoke new build detached homes and small commercial schemes.

What type of work do you do?
We design single, double and triple storey extensions, loft extensions, internal knock throughs and out buildings.
Do you provide structural surveys?
Structural engineers require a different type of insurance for undertaking structural surveys than is required for structural design. We stick to structural design because that's the bit we enjoy and we're really good at.
Do you design basements?
Sometimes. Contact us and ask and we'll reply quickly.
How fast can you provide our drawings?
We always promise a maximum of 4 weeks, but usually deliver much faster. We prioritise supporting projects that are currently in construction. If you have a contractor waiting to start then let us know and we can usually provide a fast turnaround for you.
Do I need an architect?
It depends what you're trying to do. If you need planning permission or are doing an extension that is permitted development then yes you normally need an architect. We can use their drawings as the basis upon which we design the structures that provide support or access.
Do you provide on-site construction support?
Yes of course - we support contractors on projects we've designed to resolve onsite structural questions.
Is there a particular service you don't provide?
We're not Party Wall Surveyors; we're not architects.
